The Sherbrooke Branch Library opened to the public on June 20, 1969. The Branch relocated to the former Royal Bank building in May, 1995.

About Sherbrooke Library
The building was donated to the District of St. Mary’s in 1994 and was renovated by the municipality through the N.S. Department of Education and Culture’s Library Capital funding program.
Services Include:
- Three computers with High-Speed Internet available for public use (Windows 7, CD Burner, scanner, MS Office, Laser Inkjet Printer).
- 802.11g wireless internet access.
- Photocopying and fax also available.
- The Library is a site for the Guysborugh County C@P Network.
