Old Court House Museum & Visitor Information Centre

Since 1976 the Guysborough Historical Society has used the building to promote a better understanding of our cultural heritage and as an information centre for visitors to Guysborough County.

Built in 1842-43, the museum offers a large selection of books and reference materials, including numerous complete and incomplete genealogies for use within the museum.
