Mulgrave Heritage Centre

Attractions in the The Eastern Shore

The Mulgrave Heritage Centre opened to the public October 12, 2007. The museum is modeled as a replica of the Scotia II train ferry that once transported rail cars from Mulgrave to Cape Breton. Our museum / visitor information centre features a collection of displays on the town’s past including the railway, war, fisheries, ferries and black history. In addition, local artisans have skillfully crafted models of vessels that once serviced the area. A must stop on the Marine Drive, Route 344. Open to the public from late June to early September. Visits can be arranged out of season by email: mulgraveheritage@gmail.com. All Aboard!
