About Pictou County History Museum
The Pictou County History Museum, formerly called Carmichael-Stewart House Museum.
Trenton glassware, a Penny Farthing, Scottish regalia and historical photographs are but a few of the many items on display. Moreover, the museum boasts a historic garden populated with plants present in Nova Scotia prior to 1900.
The museum is proud to host Tuesday Tea from 2-4pm, and our hours of operation in 2025 are 9:30am-4pm, Monday-Saturday, from June 11th – August 30th.
