Cuddle a kitten while sitting on the running board of a bright red 1948 International Pick-up and feel this era of transition, when oil lamps faded away to bare light bulbs, and the Second World War changed rural life forever.

Sixteen rescued buildings, including a general store, church, one-room schoolhouse, boat shop, fisherman’s storehouse, a family home and barn, ice house, shingle mill, and the gold mining complex authentically recreate a typical 1940s coastal village.
