River Oaks Country Lodge

We are located on the Musquodoboit River, where you can enjoy fishing or canoeing, soak up the sun on our patio or cool off in the outdoor pool after a round of golf.

The Eastern Shore’s inlets, rocky outcrops, islands, salt marshes, and nearly endless beaches create a prime condition for sea kayaking and other coastal activities. We are less than an hour drive to many of Nova Scotia’s beautiful beaches: Martinique Beach – at 5 kilometres in length, it is the province’s longest sand beach; Clam Harbour Beach – located near Lake Charlotte, it is among the province’s most beautiful and popular beaches; and Lawrencetown Beach – perfect for those who enjoy dramatic coastal vistas and surfing.

Our accommodations include eight air-conditioned units with single or double beds, four with kitchenettes. All come with 4-piece baths and cable television, and our deluxe suite is equipped with a whirlpool. Cots are available upon request. Guest amenities include a patio deck, pool, and a licensed dining room is located at River Oaks Golf Club. A complimentary continental breakfast is served.
